I was carrying the Manix today, and then the Native showed up at work. I love that it's a pretty noticeable difference in color between the G10 and FRN. This is my first Native, and for some reason I thought it would be a little bigger. Seems like, off the top of my head that it feels quite similar to a Para 3 in hand?? Besides when choking up...I'm normally a big fan of choking up, but for some reason when I do it with this Native, my middle finger just doesn't get a secure grip in the handle. I don't have the fattest of fingers, but if I did I think it would work much better for me when choking up. Oddly, it feels really good in hand when not doing so. JUST enough real estate for my pinky to just hang onto the end of the handle. Nice, strong lockup with the backlock...love that sound!

Today's carry along with a heck of a mail call! Can't wait to put these newbies into the rotation!

I am pretty sure the "todays carry" is the knife to the very right, correct? :)
Also the one I´d choose out of the four!

Yep. K390 pm2 today. I like it enough that I've thought of buying a backup for it while they're still around. But the new 10v model seems to fill that role and give me my first dlc pm2 - win win!

I'm curious to see if the native grows on you. It's definitely small, so might never be your ideal work knife, but who knows...with the rex45 you might come to love the little powerhouse. I'm pretty psyched to have a g10 native in rotation again - perfect for days I want a strong, unimposing knife but have dinky pockets. ;)

Funny, the sound of that amazingly well made backlock that Rick mentions is actually the thing I miss the most when thinking back to the Native LW (S35VN) I had... really liked that little guy a lot.
