If they are heat treated/hardened I believe they would have marks on them from the testing process. Looks like a little dot or imprint near the ricasso

So, say someone were to buy one of these and remove the blade from the glass...accidentally. How long would it take to put a decent edge on it using the Sharpmaker? Asking for a friend...
Not long, especially if you use the corners of the medium (brown) stones after you’ve rubbed the edges together vigorously till they (the stones) start to smell, just before they catch fire. ;)

Hope this helps. :)

So, I was just thumbing through the catalog that arrived in the mail the other day and I was reminded of these beauties.

Anyone got the lowdown on an ETA?

I know about as much as anyone else that isn't associated with Spyderco, but I would guess "soon."

Wish I knew more as well, this was easily one my favorite pieces from the Reveal v.4! :D

The humanity!

This transgression cannot be allowed. It must be rectified, henceforth! Mine juice of apple shant be sullied by a mere peasants glass...

If you don't mind sharing. Any particular sake you've been enjoying lately?

Probably an error as these are only supposed to be available through the SFO so full retail, but I was browsing Optics Planet (Yes I know how many feel about them) and they have it listed as a pre-order item for over retail, 79.99!

https://www.opticsplanet.com/spyderco-l ... glass.html

Can anyone confirm these are still going to be an SFO exclusive?

Cath & I are enjoying sake we bought from North American Sake Brewery when we visited Charlottesville, Va last fall. The food was eclectic and fantastic too. We met Andrew the head brewer and got an impromptu tour. He has a real passion for making sake.
