I'm glad this is an easy pass. As mentioned before this is too close to the s35vn model. I was hoping with the success of the Para 3 REC would have taken more of a risk with their exclusives. If this had the brown PVD coated blade that would have been great.

I prefer k390 to 10v, at least in the platforms I've been able to try them in.

10v is pretty interesting though. Good on them for running it.

I'm sure this was just an early 'listing mistake', as they created the product page. Getting ready for later today.

I don’t get coatings, in all meanings of the phrase.

But I hope all who want this exclusive can get it.

Would be a great configuration for a Military. Maybe that will be next. I may try and get in on this satin version though.

I like the color combo and steel (K390 would be better) but it’s a PM2. If it were a Manix 2 I’d be very interested.

How is this too close to the s35vn model?, it's cpm10v!!
Or is everyone just buying these just on color now?

You gonna be jumping on this?

Who HAS made enough for you ?
Hype models are gonna hype (like micarta shaman) and others could very well sit around

Even this one, REC took a risk and offered us freaking cpm10v and not another boring m390/cts 204p/CPM 20cv exclusive and people are already complaining that it's brown and thus boring

BTW - where was the scorpion tie in?

If this was a Manix I'd immediately buy it (in both coated and uncoated).

If it's a slow mover I'd be tempted to buy one just to show my support for their running of 10v.

Hopefully it sells fast, but not so fast people can't get it, and they do a Manix afterward, and everyone is happy.

On their Para3, they had them for a couple weeks before a frenzy started, so they were easy to get if you wanted one.

I've had good experiences with them, so hopefully a feeding frenzy here doesn't turn you off them.

Are you buying one of these?

Where did the scorpion buzzwords come into play?

You know MOST people don't use a knife hard enough to tell the difference between steels. I know personally I've been using mine quite heavily at work lately, even intentionally trying to dull them. You could put 4V/20CV/M4/Cruwear all in a bag with no markings and it would be almost impossible to tell the difference in use, maybe in sharpening would be a bit easier.

So yes, I think a lot of people don't want another knife that looks similar to another one they may already own, in terms of color scheme.
