I'm loving your updates, Rick. Keep em coming!
Thanks! It's been fun. So far I'm going through all my knives that still have the factory edge so it's a more level playing field, granted a bunch of them are different model knives. Learning a bit as I go, so it's totally worth it! Hopefully can help people that may be on the fence about a certain model or steel. This one really surprised me this week/today.

Cleaned up the scales tonight with Magic Eraser, hit the blade with some Flitz and mineral oil, touched it up on the Sharpmaker on the browns, a few passes on the fine rods and a few on the strop. Good as new! About 20 minutes total for everything.

I have access to so many kinds of rope and abrasive materials, I could probably send you some stuff if you'd like to try it for your own SE challenge your doing. I've had my eye your thread as well! I have a few SE blades, but just can't dedicate myself to them other than outside work :o

That's a lot of cutting!
Yea that's the first time I kind of tired my hand intentionally cutting haha. Doesn't quite compare to your Rex45 Military test though!! That's one of the best I've seen.

Cut up quite a few boxes at work today. Also cleaned out an old Fridge and ended up cutting through some weird spongey material that had been attached to the drip tray. Definitely washed the Para 3 three times after that one.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Used my Byrd Hawkbill to fish the wand out of a bottle of bubble mixture while my son looks on in eager anticipation. :)

Accidentally dropped my closed Lil Native on some concrete, creating a rough/sharp place on the end of the TI scales. Used the Spyderco medium pocket stone to smooth out the rough spot on the TI scale so it wouldn't snag on my pocket.

Mum doesn’t need a funny looking knife or a camera. She just fishes it out with her pinky. Ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha! :p

How disappointing, Spydergirl. :(

I s’pose it could have been worse if it fell open ... chipped blade, tip and dinged the scales.
