Anyone remember how much the Pm3 was compared to the s30 model? Just wondering what the price will be on this one. Exactly not what I need a 7th pm2 haha but I really like it
The REC version sold for $140. At that time, I think MSRP on the regular S30V version was $200 and in 2018 MAP was 35% off, right? So street on the regular S30V should have been $130, so only $10 cheaper, if my math and discount recollections are correct.
The REC Para 3 wasn't an instant sell out. It was available for a while, and I know several people who bought them at retail.

It's kind of funny how it worked out. There didn't seem to be as much interest for the first run as some other exclusives. Then the second run came along and everyone decided they needed one. The FDE PVD coating is kind of neat simply because it's a different color than the black DLC we're used to seeing. The actual FDE color doesn't really thrill me but I have to admit it's interesting. I have a ZT with a grey PVD blade and I really like how it looks. I wouldn't mind seeing different colors used for other Spyderco models in the future.

These will be gone in minutes. I'm hoping to grab two and use one as trade bait for the Para 3 I missed out on.

I haven't heard anything new or useful -- fingers crossed they double or tripple up compared to round 2 of their last exclusive, they said they were ordering more, not sure what that means....

Has anyone heard of a release date for this one yet?? I’m not social media savvy. I do not have a knife with CTS 204P. I’m a little OCD and I’m trying to “collect them all”. I like the color scheme too.

Seems that maybe the REC PM2 is getting closer to being ready, since they're announcing a contest for one.

Every greedy flipper and their grandma will be flooding the site to get one. If a knife was ever a "lock" for big flipper profit, this is clearly it. Basically a lottery for $100+. REC might want to dunk their servers in liquid nitrogen to stay cool.

Anyone have a Para 3 that they have actually put through the paces? I'd be interested to see how the PVD is holding up vs. DLC and TiCN.

Yep, REC says these are dropping in the next week. But also, great news: they also said on IG that they're gonna keep ordering runs of this exclusive until the demand is met! So if you miss out this time, you can get it next round.

Ha they tried a second round with the PM3 and it was a massive Cluster....

To be fair though the manager of REC is a stand up guy and did reach out and offer up some options but when you been lusting after something and can’t scratch the itch its disheartening.

Just a WAG, but I think given how wildly popular this configuration has shown to be, especially with the new PVD blade that's been done by no one else, I'd bet they could make just about anything in this configuration (Shaman or Manix2 anyone?) and it would go at least as fast as the BHQ/St. Nick's exclusives have been going >> only minutes to sell out. It's a good looking configuration IMO, and I'm definitely going to try for one of these PM2's, and a Para3 if they do indeed make another run of 'em. :)

I don't like reruns. We could have had a Military or Native LW or Manix XL or something else interesting.

I’m glad to hear about the re-runs. Nothing says they can’t also come out with other models too but at the end of the day it’s not a cool feeling knowing you missed out on a model you really wanted. I still feel bad any time I see someone post the micarta shaman so I say bring on the reruns so everyone who wants one can enjoy it.
