Knife giveaway - closed

Postby Pancake » Mon Feb 17, 2020 11:16 am

Sooooooo, I want to make a giveaway. I want to give something to the community here.

I made this one from O2 steel and blue jeans micarta with yellow G10 liner. Sheath is not made yet, but it will be kydex and leather loop.

I have to limit this giveaway to Europe only, I am not very comfortable shipping a knife behind the sea.
If you are interested, just type I am in or something like that.
Winner will be drawn next Monday.

Nice knife!

I'm in the USA, so I'm not in, but I definitely admire your craftsmanship.

Just wanted to say it looks grand! I never use fixed blade knives, so it would be selfish to enter for winning it, but again it looks really nice!

That’s very kind of you, Mr Pancake!

To be honest, and notwithstanding my preference, I’m not sure whether I’m in Europe or not anymore. I woke up one morning and my citizenship and rights had been stolen.

Let’s just say I’m particularly fond of the blue and yellow colourscheme, so if you think I should be in, I’m in!

Very nice knife. In the US, so I'm not in, but I think your giveaway is very generous and says a lot about your character. I hope it goes to someone who will use and appreciate such a well crafted knife.

Beautiful knife Pancake! Looks very clean and well made. :)

I'm an American so I'm not in, but still, thank you for the very generous gesture toward our European members!

Thanks. Micarta was bought from one store, but making my own micarta is on my want-to-try-it list.

Btw, it's done and done, yesterday I completed the sheath and I am very happy with the result.
It could be still improved, if I had a surface ground steel or a surface grinder at home it would make things easier, but it's a solid tool.

I sent Wartstein a PM alerting him of this thread earlier this afternoon.
