If i was your wife I would take 1 item from your nightstand each day and put it away until you noticed lol. My guess is the day the Slysz Bowie disappeared you would catch on ;)

The day my Slysz Bowie would "disappear" I would certainly "experience" something very close to a heart attack... or a stroke :D It's one of the reasons my wife doesn't have access to my safe queens... anymore :) A few years ago she had the eerie idea to give away my Leaf Storm to a 12 years kid for his birthday. When I asked what possessed her to give away such an expensive knife and why didn't she ask me before, she replied : "you have to many knives anyway and I didn't think you'll notice" :D :D :D

After recovering from the initial shock, that would very swiftly result in me changing the combo on the safe.

Decided to go with the Caly Jr in Super Blue for the week. Figured it's quite the opposite of the 20CV Manix I carried all last week at work. The Caly Jr definitely can't hold a candle to the Manix in toughness nor confidence in warehouse work haha. Neither can Super Blue compare with 20CV. It's lost its sharpness quickly and cuts through paper in jagged slices. It was popping hairs this morning before going to work. Last week after 6 days of work and intentionally breaking down some extra boxes and cutting rope for the heck of it, it was at the same level of sharpness as the Super Blue is now after only 1 day!

These are the kinds of differences I'm hoping for trying all these different models and steels for a week at a time now, instead of daily rotations. We'll see what tomorrow brings for the Caly Jr!

Keep the reviews coming, Rick - really nice to hear how everything stacks up to harder use.

Today I could've rocked nothing but a dragonfly all day (kids off school, pouring rain, stuck inside all day), but I really just wanted to carry this. It hasn't seen nearly enough use yet.

Oooooo, didn't know you grabbed one of those too. I was looking at them on BBS just last night. I'm going to remain patient and see what other models get the K390 treatment in the future though.

I need to take it out to our property or the barn and really give it some tougher jobs. I really want to see if all the reports about excellent edge stability/strength are true, which is why I got it (if anyone can chip that edge through sheer clumsiness, it's me). I just keep grabbing one of the shamans...must resist!

Been daily driving this for a while; slightly modded D4
M390 blade with straightened and rounded spine, burnt orange scales, titanium backspacer, full titanium screw set, lynch clip.
The only thing I don't like / can't fix with the D4 is the tip down screw holes, absolutely loathe them, just lets junk straight into the pivot, but I can live with it; m390 is life changing, a true "super steel".

Day 2 with this one, and it may be the last day of the week. Super Blue, though cool and exotic...isn't cut out for warehouse work. After no touch ups after yesterday's use and not even a full day today...it will no longer cut paper and actually struggles to cut through the plastic packing list envelopes. I'm not going to risk continuing to use it in this state and risk injury or damaging the knife if I need more force applied to get the job done. Very surprised and disappointed. I'll sharpen it back up tonight, but it will be relegated to strictly light duty. Seems comparable to some of the 8cr13mov Kershaw's I've had in the past.

I may finish off the week with some S30V (probably the Smock) Go with another different steel and totally different blade design. Hope you're feeling better today!

Is it just a trick of the light, or is the pac salt's handle also not as tall as the endura's?
