Some handles are just ok, some are darn right terrible, then a few just seem to melt in your hand. What is your best handle?
My number one is Para 3 Lightweight
- I know, FRN is not my favorite handle material, but in this knife, it's "a package".
The knife is light, and balanced.
Number two Brouwer
It's the size on this one that does it for me. I have a small hand and this one fills it.
I saw this post, and came to preach the Brouwer gospel, but I see I'd be preaching to the choir!
The Brouwer is the only knife where I got that "this was made for MY hand" feeling. Stock pocket clip is a must if you're looking to optimize ergonomics. If you want to sacrifice ergos for carryability, that's a personal choice.
Other than that, all the rest of the models with a finger choil, followed by a finger groove are pretty darn good. Native, Sage, Shaman, Manix, etc.
I prefer no thumb ramp, and a straighter back of the handle.
Brouwer is the best.
