The Far Side

Postby PStone » Mon Feb 10, 2020 7:04 am

Anybody used to enjoy this comic as much as I did? Website started just a couple months ago. Thought I would share. It’s great being able to get a random daily dose of these timeless, classic comics.

I love the Farside. It is my second favorite strip. Calvin and Hobbes is number one.

Use to get their daily calendars every year, but never could make it very far without ripping through them to see the next cartoon.

Yes! They're both my favorites too.

I also like Dilbert.

I read these two and laugh, even though I’ve seen them before.

Amen! I still have several books from both. My wife always got angry when I read "Calvin and Hobbes" books in bed as she would fall asleep instantly, but I'd start laughing, and while I could manage to do so almost silently, I'd start shaking the bed with my laughter at Calvin and his "antics" and wake her up. :D

I LOVE the Far Side! I used to get the daily calendars every year. My wife thought they were just dumb. I felt sorry for her, 'cause they're freakin' hilarious! :p

Big fan of Gary Larson's, The Far Side! :) The man was a genius! His comics were always a treat.

I also enjoyed Berkeley Breathed's, Bloom County and Bill Watterson's, Calvin and Hobbes.

My dad had every single Farside collection. He read them in bed at night over and over, and I'll never forget the sound of him snorting laughter! A favorite of mine...
