Anyone else hoping this comes in RWL34/CPM154? From what I've seen from BBB, Larrin and others CPM154 performs really well and it hasn't been used much by Spyderco, so I would love to get some especially in this platform.

Aaaaand it's the Watu!!!

Gotta say it looks awesome overall, 20CV is killer, but kind of bummed about the CF laminate - I was quietly hoping for the marbled CF a la Kapara.

Anyone know if it's got the bushing pivot?

I'm glad the blade stock is thin 2.5mm. Knife looks great but I don't like that pattern of cf laminate.

I like the look but will need to get it in-hand before I commit to the $182 price tag...especially with all the other jewels in the reveal. Not sure what they are going to have for the other reveals!?

Love everything but the Laminate CF as well. Still a must buy for me!

Agree with others, the CF laminate isn’t particularly exciting, but certainly not a deal breaker. With the 20CV, I’m definitely in for one of these!

Hope so too. With the CQI changes to the Kapara, and going right out of the gate with the Sage 5 LW, etc, I’d be really surprised if they didn’t go bushing pivot here as well. Seems to be the way the wind is blowing. Fingers crossed.

Anyone know what this steel is like? The more I see this knife, the more I'm interested.

It's not a tough steel but it has a very good wear resistence, given it's correct heat treated. I prefer S90V myself but I am a weird chap

American analogue to Bohler M390. Different gen of powder metallurgy used for production but performance is probably indistinguishable.

In SHOT vid the action didn't seem especially low friction so maybe standard pivot...but that's just speculation.
