I hope that Spyderco has a DLC option on the rumored upcoming OD Green Cru-carta Shaman. That is what I am really after.

He's a small dealer. I'm pretty sure he's running his business out of his home. I think it's great that he's commissioned this exclusive and I hope it helps him get his name out there. The actual price of $217.75 is not out of line IMO

MSRP is $335. MAP is no longer 35% off ($217.75), but only 30% off across all Spyderco knives... hence the price of $234.50. Nobody's unreasonably jacking up prices by the hour here.

Just read it was smooth G-10 in the description.
I’m out.
Great looking knife but I have zero interest in smooth scales. Have them on my Cruwear Para 3 and it sits in a box until I get some grippy G-10 or micarta scales for it.

But for people who like them, this is an awesome looking Shaman. Price is reasonable too, imo.

I really like the look of this, but... I just pre-ordered the Rosewood version from Knifecenter and I prefer a non-DLC blade and I like Rex45 over Cruwear!

Look great and the price is reasonable. LOVE the green! I already have the Crucarta Shaman and don’t like coated blades. I’ll probably pass on this one.

Trying to convince myself to like DLC, because this one very enticing!

Any particular reason your against DLC?

I don't like that I have to grind it off to change the blade shape, like if I chip the blade tip and have to grind down the spine to fix it. Otherwise I don't really care about scratches.

I "might" have considered it at the first listed price but given that I have the M4 version I think I'll pass.

So far, only the KW Military in CF and S90V has been enough of a lure to entice my Spyderco purchases over the very low $200 range.
