Yeah that's why I stick with a Pacific Salt pretty much every day during the summer. Just oil the blade they say. Well what about the liners, locking mechanism, screws, clips....I've rusted those too haha.

I'm really glad they make the salt line. It's been really nice having rust be an optional problem the past decade.
I think I've said it before, but a P4 LW Salt would suit me fine just fine. :D
I know I've said it before, but a Police Salt would be the last pocket knife I'd need.
That could be true for me as well. The LW and LC200N seem made for each other.

I'm wanting a Police 4 LWT, but am wondering if I should wait until, or if, they come out with a LC200N Salt version.

Between this and the Endela, I'd like to get an Endela first, though.

I hear ya! All of ya! ;) The "Beach Patrol" is going to be a legendary knife. I really hope there is a full SE version as well. I'd buy both PE and SE. I'll be waiting on these and hoping they CQI a Boye Dent into the model by then as well!

I was requesting a Endura Salt with a yellow and black zome FRN and LC200N Steel, but now I’m thinking this would be a better idea if done with the Police 4 lightweight.

Many good ideas on the Police 4 FRN!!

Here are my wants in top down priority:
1) Full serrated. (Would buy it in a heartbeat!!)
2) LC200N Salt aka Beach Patrol
3) Dark green or O.D., or else a dyeable lighter color such as yellow or desert tan or sand FRN scales
4) Black DLC blade coating

I’m moving the Military to the top of my “next buy” list and waiting for the P4 LW to come out with SE and/or Salt version. If I didn’t already have a Police stainless PE I would jump on the new P4. It looks like a fantastic value and design but just not filling any perceived holes in my herd of knives.

Hi Pilgrim,

I currently testing a serrated P4 to see if K390 would support a serration.

Holy smokes that would be cool! I second VashHash's sentiment.

I just want a FFG SE vg10 version! With an orange handle???

In fact the P4 LW might be my all time favorite spydie. Yes... even over the pac salt SE and the military.
