You know that the HAP 40 Stretch 1 Sprint is still available for a reasonable price? (And in that exact configuration imho perhaps the very best EDC folder ever made :D )?

I know that :D but it is such a pain in the neck to ship one in my archaic country and then get ripped off on taxes that is not even worth it....but I thought about it very hard at one point in time.....maybe I'll get one :D

Well since it wasnt in the new catalog we all know the pacific salt 2 will be in one of the reveals. Im hoping we will see a wharncliffe version and a spyderhawk 2 salt as well.

MAN! This in a somewhat "better" steel (VG10, S30V, BD1N would be perfectly fine) could easily become one of my absolute favorites... :rolleyes:

Come on buddy, you know why. Cause the only people doing the advanced midbacklock close are like you and 2 other people. The rest of us heathens are dropping the unsharpened portion right onto our forefinger.

Hobestly, I became quite reluctant to post anything about bscklocks cause of the risk to initiate another useless "backlock brigade"- discussion...

But in that case: I really thought people use the "dropping unsharpened portion on forefinger" method cause it is just convinient, not cause they have to... and they would just switch to another method if there IS no "unsharpened portion".... and certainly NOT drop the sharp blade on the forefinger and then call the knife a "finger cutter" Would be rather silly to do so, wouldn't it?!

I would definitely buy one, for the reasons you mentioned! But again, I'd like a bit of a "steel upgrade" (VG10, S30V, BD1N...) and the FRN LW version and/or SE would be the icing on the cake...
