So this one doesn’t really qualify as a traditional to me, but it’s a slipjoint so maybe. Real steel Luna, titanium handle, n690 and a pocket clip. Thin blade stock, ground super thin behind the edge. Really liking it so far. B7143B25-4A1E-4D70-B4AA-C5E18E31D195.jpeg
Definitely not a traditional but very nice. I have one on order as well.

Thanks!
Is that the full-size or mini model? I've been curious about the mini trapper with caplifter- more for prying and the slotted driver than lifting bottle caps.

Looks like State College has Seattle weather. :p No real winter at my parents house yet either. Happy New Year.

It's the full sized model, which is a bit larger than the Mini. The caplifter model caught my eye, but I've so many SAKs that I haven't taken the plunge and picked one up yet! I actually prefer the Mini Trapper for pocket carry due to its size. I can take a comparison pic for you if you'd like.
You're right about the weather my friend! I lived out in western Washington for about 5 years, but I never thought I'd see that kind of weather here in early January! Happy New Year!

My GEC affliction is worse than i first thought! Yikes.

This Waynorth Blackjack is phenomenal. The 86 frame is certainly a new favorite and this execution is so good. That cut swedge, tho.

Thanks for the offer, Barry. If it's easy enough for you a photo would be cool.

I will probably just go with an Alox Cadet and/or Pioneer for that spot in my lineup.

There's no bigger Vic/Wenger fan out there, but get a Case Trapper if you can. There's something about them... :)

That's one of the things I love about traditionals - they get their stampings straight and right!

I'm not really a fan of blade etches. This one is more tasteful. The Black Jack is quite hard to photograph without proper soft lighting etc.
