:) MERRY CHRISTMAS to all in Spyderville! :)

I am going to break away from the studio soon and go to the next city over to begin our family celebrations and observance of the 2019 Christmas eve / Christmas Day holidays with my mother, my sister and my niece.

Lots of eggnog to be had and mostly family interactions in celebration starting today with Christmas Eve.

How are you celebrating the Christmas Holidays?

What you Gave, Received, ...What your celebrations entailed, and why this Christmas this year is Special to you and yours. ;)

Let's Share about it!

Merry Christmas to all my friends here with the same, unique, hobby as myself. Great conversation with many of you and appreciate all the help, opinions and care towards my more personal posts over the past 2 years (under previous username as well) I look forward to checking this forum every single day!!

We're looking forward to my parents being moved back to NY from VA and having our first Christmas in their beautiful new home. I'm an only child and our family is small these days, so it means a lot to all of us :D

A 3 dimensional kangaroo Christmas Card>> only my good pal BLOKE could come up with something like that :) Well I did see any wild fires in that background so I have believe that BLOKE and family survived the ordeal very well.

Just woke up on this great Christmas morning to wish all of you a great holiday season.

Hope you feel better soon Darby! :(

Last Christmas Eve, my then-6-month-old son came down with a nasty flu and was throwing up all night and all the next day. Needless to say, it wasn't the "first Christmas" we could've wished for.

Thankfully, this year has been much better. It's so much fun to watch little people get so excited, opening up all their presents. :)

Spent the morning opening presents at home & our usual breakfast of Christmas themed pancakes. Late afternoon we head 15 minutes down the road to my In-laws & spend the rest of the day with them & my Sister In-laws family. Open presents & stockings, then dinner. Afterwards head home & just relax. Currently just cruising the various online forums I participate in & drinking a glass of my wife's homemade spiked eggnog. Sadly I have to work tomorrow.

No Spydie Christmas loot this year. Wife got me a Mora Hatchet & a bottle of rye whiskey I wanted. Boys got me a Leatherman Style PS to replace the one my wife lost off my keychain. Oldest got me a new travel coffee mug. Other than that I got giftcards to Barnes & Noble & my local coffee shop.

Most notable thing about this Christmas was that it's the 1st one since my oldest boy started college. He did well his 1st semester, so just 7 more or so to go. It's been nice having him home as he's my fellow knife-nut.

Merry Christmas to all here.

On Christmas Eve, my wife and I celebrated Christmas with her parents. It’s a family tradition for us to go to church in the evening and then go out to eat afterwards at our favorite restaurant. We then went back to my mother- and father-in-law’s house to exchange gifts, eat Christmas cookies, and play a rousing game of Canasta. On Christmas Day, my wife and I exchanged our gifts for each other and then took a nice walk around the lake (about 5 miles). We then went out for dinner and took the long way home so we could admire Christmas lights. We’re now relaxing and watching our favorite Christmas movie, Muppets Christmas. As for new knives, my darling wife surprised me with a Spyderco McBee and an Ultra-Tech OTF (double-edge) in CTS-204P. I’m pretty stoked! On Friday, we’re heading to my brother’s house to celebrate with my side of the family. I’m excited because we’ll be able to visit with my younger brother who enlisted into the Navy last year. He just made it through BUDS. We haven’t seen him since he enlisted, so it’s a pretty cool thing. My youngest brother is in the Marine Corps, but he unfortunately won’t be able to come home for Christmas due to his ongoing training. So proud of them both.

Hope you all had a very happy Christmas!
