Tucson, Arizona

Does anyone know if there is a good Spyderco dealer in Tucson, Arizona?

I'm here for two weeks for the holidays and the AirBnB we're staying at has terrible kitchen knives. I'm trying to find a dealer with Z-cuts in stock so that I can drive over there today and buy a couple. A kitchen drawer full of customs has spoiled my (non-knife) wife, and she wants something better to use than the standard AirBnB Walmart specials.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me find something locally here!

I would just google knife stores in Tucson and start calling each one. I just googled it for the fun of it and the first place that popped up was bladerunner knives. They had some pics of a few spydercos on thier facebook page. They might.
There was also a kitchen cutlery store that came up so surely they would have a decent alternative option.

If you have been spoiled by good kitchen knives then you should expect every time you go on vacation there will not be any good knives to use. Basically Im saying you might want to pack one or two in the future.

I normally do pack a knife and a cutting board. I just flailed this time because I was trying to get last minute Christmas stuff taken care of.

I facebooked Blade Runner, so maybe they can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Hope you find what you’re looking for, Tom.

Gonna get any jumps in while you’re in town? Or is this a different Tom? 😆

There probably aren't a lot of other Toms with my last name from Twin Falls. So it's probably the one you're thinking of.

It's a family trip so it's unlikely.

One of my instructors is living down here and trying to drag me out though. I didn't bring a rig, so I'd have to borrow one of his if I did go out.

I figured 😆. Nice to meet another knife guy that jumps. Hope you guys have a nice holiday. I’m hoping to get up to the bridge in April.

Blade Runner Knives is my favorite shop, but frankly their stock of Spydercos is pretty thin. But I always enjoy a visit there and Eric is a nice guy.

They have some Spydercos in the cases at Sportsman's Warehouse -- but I don't think you will find anything unusual.

So it is pretty thin going all in all. Since I got interested in exclusives and sprints, it is all on-line. Sometimes Eric gets things used or on comission, but I haven't been in there for a while. Another possibility -- I have heard that there is a shop worth visiting down in Sierra Vista, but have never been there.

I can second the recommendation for Blade Runner Knives -- awesome place, awesome owners, able to order knives for you if they don't have them in stock, bought several Spydies from them. Don't remember what they carry in the way of kitchen knives because I never pay attention to kitchen knives anyway, maybe phone them first to check.
