It makes my soul feel good to hear more and more people wanting to see the return of the C-60 Ayoob model. And I really don't care what variants they call for either. As long as they are improvements with newer/better materials.

The C-60 Ayoob is a beast in both edge types. But I distinctly remember our old Brother "Doc Snubnose" said that he did a meat cutting test with his Spyderedged version of the Ayoob model and he said the results were astounding.

The KRIS is among about 3 recurve models that I would really love to see brought back again>> and also to start making these recurve models available in Spyderedge as well as plain edge. I can only imagine what kind of cutting machines that the KRIS, ULIZE & SPYKER models would all be like in SE :cool:

OH they could make the Spyderedged version in VG-10 and I wouldn't mind because I've had great luck using all my VG-10 blades in SE. VG-10 is one Steel I've had good results in PE & SE both. But for a C-60 Ayoob in PE I would want a Supersteel like M390, M-4, S110V, 10V ect.

Rookie with K390 - Been asking for this one for a while now as well! Would make a cool set with the Police 4, in my opinion.

KRIS in any configuration of steel and handle material. Preferably a linen Micarta or bone/horn/whatever.

Darn Dao in CPM 3V. Make another flash batch. I think a chopper deserves a steel like 3V. I bought 2 of the originals and I'd buy it in 3V too.

An awesome suggestion Brother!! I hope your idea grows legs and goes forward. I could really go for both models if they would offer them up in PE & SE both as well as PE.

If most of the relative newcomers to the Spyderco addiction would get a chance to test drive the C-60 Ayoob model there would be a massive amount of people begging for the re-introduction of the C-60 Ayoob and the ULIZE both.

The lack of clip is probably why I never pulled the trigger on the air and missed out. If it came around again I'd get it regardless, but a clip would be outstanding.

How about a Franken-Return? I like the Wayne Goddard design, but I want the micarta from the first editions and the full-flat grind and Boye dent of the later models.

This would be my dream. At least we know two would get sold :D
