The Detective -1968 (Frank Sinatra's conversation with a shrink)
You're an interesting man.
Narrow, but interesting.
I always felt that about you.
What does that mean? As if I give a ****.
Your relationship with your wife. One
of the most remarkable women I've ever met.
You could have handled that
more intelligently, if I may say so.
A different kind of man
could have understood her problem.
Mm.
Yeah, maybe a different kind of man
would've understood.
But I'm not civilized enough to look the
other way when my wife's screwing other men.
It's childish, isn't it?
But you know something?
- You're full of crap.
- You don't like psychiatrists much, do you?
- They make people adjust to a sick world.
- It is sick.
- Getting sicker.
- What do you suggest?
I think each person knows what's important
to him. He should compromise for nobody.

A Clockwork Orange
What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on?
I bet you got little save pitiful, portable picnic players.
Come with uncle and hear all proper!
Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones.
You are invited.

Captain Blood
Dr. Peter Blood: Nuttall, me lad, there's just one other little thing. Do you think you could find me a good stout piece of timber? About so thick and so long?
Honesty Nuttall: Yes, I think so.
Dr. Peter Blood: Then do so and lash it to your spine - it needs stiffening.

Star Gate SG1 (Ben Browder's character, Col Mitchel's class reunion)
Episode "Bounty" Eps 209, season 10, episode 15, original air date: February 6, 2007
Jackie: Cameron? Hey, welcome back!
Mitchell: Jackie, hey!
Jackie: (to Vala) And…Vay-la?
Vala: Vala.
Jackie: Vala. Now, I can’t remember, did you go to GW?
Vala: Oh, I didn’t attend school, as much as I was sold as a domestic servant to a weapons smuggler named Firenze. After I killed him and won my freedom I considered my education more or less complete.
Jackie: (bewildered) …Well, it was sure nice to meet you.

Re: Favorite movie quotes
So I jump ship in Hong Kong and I make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas.
A looper?
A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking. So I'm on the first tee with him I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says?
No.
Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-lagunga. So we finish eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you now, for the effort, you know. And he says, Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total onsciousness. So I got that going for me. Which is nice.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.

Now I had heard that word at least 10 times a day from my old man. My father worked in profanity the way other artists might work in oils or clay. It was his true medium. A master.

You’re not hunting him...he’s hunting you.
First Blood
This was an important movie because it changed the dialog on how our soldiers were treated after Vietnam. People back then didn’t thank you for your service. This movie began to change that.
Back there I could fly a gunship, I could drive a tank, I was in charge of million dollar equipment, back here I can't even hold a job *parking cars*! John Rambo, First Blood

Anxiety attacks are legitimate psychiatric emergencies. Suppose you were driving and you passed out?
Let me tell you something. Nowadays everybody's got to go to shrinks and counselors and go on Sally Jesse Raphael and talk about their problems. What ever happened to Gary Cooper? The strong silent type. That was an American. He wasn't in touch with his feelings, he just did what he had to do. See what they didn't know is once they got Gary Cooper in touch with his feelings, that they wouldn't be able to shut him up.

Dirty Harry
Inspector Harry Callahan: "I know what you're thinking: 'Did he fire six shots or only five?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, punk?"
