Don't know a lot about US stores (I am European), but found at least one (bladeops) where the Sage LW seemingly is available. At least it does not say there "coming soon" or "out of stock" anymore
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I had seen that, but it wouldn’t show up in the cart. Now it’s back to showing out of stock. Must have been a mistake; hopefully this thing comes out soon!

Very interested in this one, half ounce lighter than the already pretty light standard version. Being production I'll probably wait until my favorite dealer gets them.

I am really courious how this one will compete with the Para 3 LW, and what people who generally like comp. lock knives in that size category will have to say.
While I am personally not interested in getting either one of those, if I had to choose, the Sage 5 LW would beat the Para 3 LW in almost every aspect.

I looked at prices at BHQ, DLT and NGK, and it looks like these are being sold at 70% of MSRP. Is this particular to this model or is a MAP change on the way?

It seems high for a FRN knife with S30V. I will probably still buy one as soon as I can find one, and I guess that’s what they are banking on. Just in comparison to my most recent Spyderco...Manix 2 with G10 and M390 for $13 more than the MAP on the Sage LW, it’s steep.

Not much less than the cost of a carbon fiber model; and if you find the discontinued Sage 1 at a decent price, about the same.

I'll be buying one of these but I just spent the rest of my allowance $ on another 3D printer. So it's going to have to wait.

For those of you currently looking for one, St Nicks Knives currently has 5 in stock.

The price difference between this and the Para 3 version is a bit puzzling. They are essentially the same knife, besides the size of the thumb ramp and depending who you talk to...S30V being a better steel. They are the same size, feel similar in hand (at least the G10 versions do) I had a Para 3 LW and imagine the feel on the Sage would be the same regarding the changes from G10 to FRN
15 :bug-red 's in 10 different steels
1 - Bradford Guardian 3 / Vanadis 4E Wharnie
1 - Monterey Bay Knives Slayback Flipper / ZDP 189
1 - CRK Small Sebenza 31/Macassar Ebony Inlays
1 - CRK Large Inkosi Insingo/ Black Micarta Inlays
1 - CRK Small Sebenza 31 Insingo/Magnacut

Doesn't the sage 5 lw have full skeletonized liners?

Yes. Totally different construction. The Sage 5 LW has nested skeletonized liners. Vs one partial liner on Para 3 LW.
