Touching up tomorrow’s tools. Congratulations on the kill Darby! I’m not going out this year, to much going on at the moment and it really makes me sad.

I've found that knife intriguing at that discounted price at KnifeWorks. What do you think of it?

Honestly, it is amazing, especially for the price! 4 inches of m390, centered blade, very smooth out of the box, good edge bevel and it was sharp out of the box as well. Not spyderco sharp, but it would slice receipt paper. Did a few swipes on the sharpmaker and it helped a lot, will do more later, but it will easily liberate arm hair now.

Locks up solid and the axis bar is easy to manipulate even with just my thumb. Very comfortable ergos too! Carries well for such a large knife. A bit chunkier than my amalgam, but slimmer than my ad10.

Overall very worth the price, and I think I prefer it over my cold steel for heavy duty... But we will see when I start hacking branches off trees! Haha!

Real Steel Luna. Only just got this yesterday but I really like it. Nice thin blade stock, ground super thin behind the edge. Light but snappy and smooth action. Super modern “traditional”.

Just a heads up. Drop.com has the Ferrum Forge Gent available for $60. Supposedly, you can take an additional $20 off if you're a first time buyer. This has become one of my all time favorite knives. I know it's not for everybody but, if you're looking for a small flipper, I suggest you try one. $60 is a great deal for this knife.
