Still excited about this one!
I'm curious about this one. Will it be re-engineered with an internal stop pin?

Have there been internal stop pin designs out of Japan before? I can only think of Golden and Taiwan from memory

The 3.5LW will be made in Taiwan according to Sal so it is possible that it will have an internal stop pin like the Chap LW.

That is exactly why I was asking.

My mistake. Glad it's going to be coming out of Taiwan instead!

I'll likely buy this regardless of steel. Sure would be nice to know what steel will be used. Love my 3.5's, most carried knife.

I will most likely buy one of these because the standard version has been my favorite and most carried knife over the last five or six years.

I hope it comes with something other than VG-10 or ZDP189. I have plenty of both. And I hope the blades interchange like the Para 3 family does. My Caly 3.5 with the lowly VG-10 has beaten down most challengers. M4 would be sweet. Not sure what others steels would be a available from Taiwan.

Even if it is BD1N, this model has caught my attention. I could be a nice addition to my other lockbacks.

I agree. I was just kidding about K390, even though that would be awesome. I will buy whatever comes. My enthusiasm will be higher if we can get something like Cruwear.

Lightweight and lightprice with BD1N would be a killer combo

Most likely I will grab it with whatever steel is coming with. Hope it come around spring time.

OK, I will throttle my expectations. I need to quit looking at everything like it is a sprint run and see the big picture. I guess this is more about it being a regular production model. A Caly 3.5 for the masses. I can get excited for that.

Ditto. Given all the details I'm hopeful this model will take off and maybe we'll get to see it with LC200N, K390 and more!

Can´t exactly recall what is the current status of this, just that:

- Taichung FRN texture (like on the Chap)
- Screw construction
- ?? Internal stop pin ??
- ? Could be released in the first half of 2020 ?
- ? Steel ?

Is there already more to know?
