I scored one from BladeHQ, just happened to be on at the right time.

Swapped the pocket clip to lefty, oiled it, and my fingers are one the verge of bleeding from flipping it last night trying to get it all broken in. I think this is going to be spending a lot of time in my pocket.

Yep, I got mine. I would say the seller was reliable.

Why not just adjust the pivot screws? A VERY slight turn is all it take to dial it in. No need for flipping.

Well, 'flipping' (opening and closing), polishes things up nicely. It goes from a little snug, to just right, and you're then holding something with nice shiny washers! :D

If you loosen the screw. You go from just right, to a little loose and sloppy later. Only to have to turn the screw again, back the other way. Plus, once you crack that Loctite, it's not going to hold as well. Keeping everything nice, and right where it should be. :)

Thanks for sharing the news. Unfortunately, GP Knives doesn't ship to my country (even though it's included in their dropdown list at checkout). Hopefully, it will be back in stock at other dealers soon :)

Is anyone else finding their spring on this one, to be a good bit stiffer than most?

Wow that's about perfect for m390 seems like maybe oil quenched from 2050f then tempered at 300f is my guess. I'd love to see a relative cut test with these. Really wishing I liked brown about now

Yes, this really is unicorn territory, for M390. As far as production knives go. It needs to be in this range, or higher. To get the premium cutting performance we are looking to get, and were sold, by knife manufactures.

Personally, I can hardly wait for this steel to completely go away. It must be a Herculean effort, to get it this well done. It's only the third knife, ever, that we have found. That attained this level of hardness. Out of the 45 or so M390 knives, that have been tested so far. From about a dozen different knife manufacturers. And 90%+ of those knives, have been below 60 HRC.

The only other two knives found, to be done this well. Were also Spyderco knives. They are the BBS PM 2 M390, and the DLT PM 2 M390. :spyder:

I have one of the dlt ones, seems like they're getting it down. Do you have a page of test results? Also any results for the 20cv Manix or BBS k390 pm2? Wondering about 20cv since I was thinking about the kj 20cv pm2
