The S30V Sage series features locks and the XHP Chap series features handle treatments. We’ve had the midlock Sage. We’ve not had a Micarta Chap.

Not to derail, but I’d swoop up the latter in a NY minute.

Me too.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I would be interested if they can deliver it with the same type of lockup/f&f as the Golden back lock (i.e. Native 5). Micarta is excellent but I'd also be interested in TeroTuf (similar composite). As it's the Sage I would assume S30V for blade steel which is fine but M4 or K390 would be great.

That would be a hard pass for me. The 2nd sprint run of the Micarta Shaman is probably going to be in a carbon steel too. I'm waiting for something from Spyderco in Micarta and a nice stainless steel.
