Hiked up a local mountain today.

Here's the same shot with my wide angle lense. Pretty funny the way the distortion makes the blade look impossibly long.

Well, this one won't win any beauty contests, but I'll throw it in.

That’s a very good hiking combo.
I’ve carried that combination quite a few times.
It really is. Great for mushrooming, it's become my go-to combo. Edit: I've been thinking about subbing the native for a PE tasman salt, though. We'll see.

We have some great entries so far. I'm going to let it ride another week; hopefully we can get a few more. :)

Supposed to only be 1 per week. A new winner every week is what I thought?

Yeah generally it's been one entry per competitor. If someone posts more than one entry I'll just go with the latest one posted.

I decided to extend this week's contest another week because there were only a few photos submitted. (Great ones though ;) )

I'll pick a winner this coming Sunday evening. (The 10th)

Adrian, welcome to the forum! That's an awesome knife and a beautiful edge!

Yeah, sorry I put up two last week. Feel free to disregard either one or both!

Sorry if my previous post came off the wrong way, was just answering with 'how it usually is'. I agree there weren't really enough submissions. Good luck everyone.
