Re: Knife & Watch
Not the best pic. I had trouble keeping the Ironmans band flat.

Re: Knife & Watch
No knife in this post but I figured since a lot of watch peeps are following this thread I'd post this here. I ran across a random pic of one of these watches and got curious. They were designed for the blind so they can feel where the bearings are and tell time. Pretty cool.

Re: Knife & Watch
The Casio F-91W is a super-underrated watch. It's what I've been wearing to work for the last 5 years and it's survived getting accidentally slammed against steel beams multiple times and hours upon hours of working in freezing temperatures. I got one because it was cheap (about C$24 when I bought it) and figured it would be easy to replace if I broke it, but as it stands, I haven't had to replace it yet—heck, I'm still on the same battery and wriststrap it came with out of the package.
Re: Knife & Watch
I only have 1 watch
Re: Knife & Watch
No shame in that game!! It a great “1” to have. Your pic yesterday inspired me to wear mine today. I don’t wear it too much because I don’t care for the band. I much prefer the style of yours. Plus I think yours is a lot cleaner face design too.
Re: Knife & Watch
Yeah I don't care for that band on those navihawks. I wanted one with a stainless band because I sweat a lot and like to swim. I found some older navihawks with a more appealing band but I haven't gotten around to getting one yet.
I'm debating if I want to try a nato strap.
Re: Knife & Watch
Please post some pics if you ever do. I’ve been wanting to do the same. I just wish I had a local place to actually handle one first. Instead of buying online. That’s how I ended up with a silly “mesh” band in the first place.VashHash wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 10:59 am
