Wow Darby, how did you achieve such a nice patina on that Hap40?? I've been hoping/trying for a darker patina on my Delica Pakkawood, cutting various materials/fruits/vegetables but it only turns a light gray. Yours looks great man!

I started off with just the middle then I checked the mail and found a surprise from the crew in Golden so the Para 3 LW joined the Chap...a few hours later the UPS guy stopped by and handed me the little guy. It's so small I just dropped it in my pocket but not before my wife saw it and by the way she was eyeing it I have a feeling this one is gonna end up in her purse.

Nice!! Great job! I'm yet to do so free hand, but was pretty excited when I did so off the Sharpmaker. Such a great feeling.

I’m very glad for you that you got your knife back. I unfortunately know the feeling. I lost my pacific salt PE (1st Spyderco) and a freshly tuned up and sharpened Benchmade 530 was stolen within six days of each other. That was a bad week. :(
Thank you! And sorry for your loss. Bad week indeed. Can never have that first one back. :(

Thanks Rick! Does feel good. Satisfying. Now I get to dull it this weekend, and see if I can repeat it! :spyder:

Guess they dont ship to Canada. Poop. Thanks though, I'll find one eventually. Might end up having to get someone to purchase/ship it to me.

Advocate for a couple of days now. :)

After a rocky start and a little tune I’m really enjoying this knife. Still sporting a factory edge but remarkably sharp even for a Spyderco.

Vivi - your judging skills are required in the "photo of the week" thread. You won 2 weeks ago.
