How about a 4V Street Beat and Street Bowie?

Reading and re-reading your post, I must say I'm not totally sure: did you see the 4V exclusive that was in stock for a few minutes in 2019 past, or have you seen just recently some more 4V in preproduction / in the works that WE haven't seen yet?

I think Sal likes to make us wonder. :)
Re: More 4V anyone?
I think it's pretty clear what he meant. At the least St. Nick's is very likely to continue with 4V.
Re: More 4V anyone?
Yeah but they're selling out like hot cakes!!! Haha. Hopefully the sales and likely incoming testimonials of how good the steel performs in use will lead to higher quantity runs. I think more people just need to experiment the steel and that 4V's reputation is growing rapidly as its audience expands.
Re: More 4V anyone?
I regret not buying the Manix 2 with 4V. That one didn't sell out quickly. If anyone has one they'd part with shoot me a message.
Re: More 4V anyone?
I have the Para 3 with 4V but I missed the others. My Mule with 4V has edge retention similar to my K390 Mule. It's great steel and I'd gladly take more of it.

A 4V Para 3 is at the top of my list.
I’ve thought about buying one on the aftermarket, I just can’t stomach paying those aftermarket flipper prices.

Sal, small request when it comes to 4V... Make sure there is a way for it to reach us European folks
Last time I saw something cool in 4V from St. Nick's, I sent them an email asking about shipping to Europe (Germany in my case) but unfortunately they don't ship it here, which is pretty disappointing.
As for specific requests... for me, 4V is synonymous with big blades, it somehow just seems fitting taking into account the characteristics of this steel. I would go with the Shaman and the Military, but the Manix 2 sounds like a decent idea as well.

Uncoated in a Native Chief would suit me just fine.

Re: More 4V anyone?
Native Chief would be an excellent choice for 4V. Definitely would be a must have for me. I'd prefer DLC for anything 4V, but I'd buy one either way.
As far as St. Nick's - I am glad they are doing the exclusives, but I have missed all of them Thought I had the Shaman in my cart, but sneezed and it was gone. But I scored a Cruwear Shaman, so now it is back to the hunt for 4V in models I want. Chief would be great, or Military, or Police, you get the idea :)
As far as fixed or folder - 4V is a great choice for a fixed blade, and I have a few including the original custom Sanders/Ankerson and a custom from Big Chris. But the same attributes that make it great for a fixed blade ALSO make it great for a folder.
Re: More 4V anyone?
Have yet to try 4V. I do have two models in M4 which I really like-Native and Para 3 so I definitely would love to get my hands on something in 4V. Hopefully the funds will be there next time anything is released in this steel. Also would really like to try REX45 and K390!
Re: More 4V anyone?
Spyderco is killing it on the 4v. I have one of the 4v Shamans, and it has been performing incredibly well. Great edge retention and edge stability. I had it tested in our QC lab today, and it hit 65.2! I saw the Para 3 models were 64+, and they didn't hold back on these either.

Re: More 4V anyone?
I would love to know at what hardness is the Province. I think it would be a bit lower then folder.

Re: More 4V anyone?
I'll take a 4V Micarta Shaman. Denim, Burgundy, OD Green, Black, whatever. I'd also like a Micarta Delica and Micarta Dragonfly with 4V or V4E, whatever is easiest in Seki.
CRU-CARTA THE SEKI MODELS! AND BRING US THE DODO-FLY!
Re: More 4V anyone?
What exactly would 4V give me that is enough improvement over M4 and Rex 45 (both of which I have) to justify buying it? For folder use improved toughness is not a determining factor for me, as the others I mentioned are fine in that regard.
Re: More 4V anyone?
I prefer 4v to M4 because of the improved toughness, which gives me a more stable apex, which essentially means I can run the edge thinner and have it stay "sharp" feeling longer.
