I don't know if it is OK to do this or not ... but I did it on an inexpensive micarta handle fixed blade I have ... which is rub it down with acetone. It pulled all the oils I had rubbed into the micarta handle; out of the micarta handle.

A little dish soap and hot water has cleaned mine up in the past. They still have gotten darker after a couple years and as others mentioned, the area under the clip will age differently.

This would be really nice with Some aged denim micarta to match my jeans..

I was thinking this earlier. It matches my khaki shorts nicely, but a denim micarta one would be nice for jeans. The less noticable by the sheeple the better. Hopefully we see many models with many different colors of micarta. I'd love to see some terotuf (the bright green is very cool!) as well while we are wishing.

I had to google Terotuf, but wow, I like that green!

I've got a pre-order in for a Carothers Delta 3V Field Knife 2 with those bright green terotuf scales! Can't wait!

Adventure Sworn has used terotuf as well. They have a cool blue one and OD Green and Black as well. I'd like to see it on a Shaman.

Great pics and comments about this awesome knife but ...

Can we rename this thread to: "Check out this super knife that I got but that you won't ever get!"

Setting a knife on a magnetic stirrer couldn’t possibly go wrong, could it? :D

Unlock it, blip the switch, and see if you can lock it up. Do. It. ;)

I know we won’t get one; but, a release date would be appreciated. I work nights so I get home and try to stay up till about 11am Pacific, refreshing. Then get up 4-5 hours later. I don’t expect them to be available longer than a few seconds so I’d prefer to end my search if it goes that way. But, gonna keep trying till I know for sure.

Leaving today for a week long hunting trip; looks like I'll be missing out on this one! Same thing happened with the release of the REX 45 PM2 which happened during a three day trip in the mountains. Another time I waited and waited then spent the knife budget and the next day they dropped the Maxamet PM2's. Uhhggg ... how do they keep doing this to me?

Sorry, I do not have calipers. It isn't crazy thin. Pretty average. It has a flat grind without a distal taper so it thickens a bit at the tip. The taper at the tip appears to just come from the dropped point.
