Hard to resist Cruwear and Rex45 but I must.
Is something going on with Rex45 that I don't know about ?
Rosewood/Rex45 Shaman should be coming eventually.
Thanks guys !! I don't know what to say about this. The combination kind of has my head spinning. I am delighted to see Rex45, and I would have thought of a more utilitarian scale material to go with it, but Rosewood ought to be really nice. I think I could warm up to this, but it all will depend on pricing (The Rosewood seems likely to drive this into the ozone) and timing (grabbing this right on the heels of the Cruwear/Micarta would be a challenge).

Oof. I really like Rex45. If it was paired with micarta, I could possibly keep my finger off the trigger a while longer.
Just buy both and swap the scales

Very interested in seeing this Rosewood model, and the price point. I'll most likely jump on that one. I find myself grabbing a satin and a dlc model of the Golden knives, that one will be my satin Shaman!

Are you saying, that you expect the Rex 45/Rosewood will be available in both satin, and DLC?

No. I have the 4V/DLC St Nick's model, and would like this model as my satin version of the Shaman. Sorry for any confusion!

Thank you, for eliminating one choice for me. I needed that! :D
I like satin. Even on my non-stainless blades.
I'm going to try and get this one (Cruwear/Micarta) and the Rex 45/Rosewood. Then swap scales, and sell off the Cruwear/Rosewood. Unless I fall in love with the Rosewood, which is not likely.

I would guess that these will start showing up today. Would anyone like to venture a guess on who will release them first? I am guessing BHQ if for no other reason than they seem to have their online sales down to an art. They also charge taxes to my state which always increases my sticker shock at checkout.

@bagsnatcher Hasn't really gotten started. I believe most of what was referenced above is the Factory Outlet stock. These just started shipping to dealers last Fri.

So the knife hasn’t started shipping yet, only the Factory Outlet stock?

They're salivating haha

I wasn't going to get one of these but after using the 4V Shaman quite a bit this past weekend I'm thinking about picking up the Cruwear version. I'm not going to get too worked up over getting one though. If the opportunity presents itself then I'll go for it. Not a big deal if I miss it.
