Sal, any plans for a fully serrated Police LW?
Sal, any plans for a fully serrated Police LW?
I've seen a lot of interest on the forum for the lightweight Police to be offered in spyderedge. I know I'd buy another if this were the case.
Re: Sal, any plans for a fully serrated Police LW?
That’s what I’m talking about! I haven’t bought the plain edge version because I’m holding out for an SE blade!
But I may have to buy both

Re: Sal, any plans for a fully serrated Police LW?
Police LW is somehow TOO large for me, still I want one more and more... and IF there was a SE model, I´d prefer that one over the PE, given that the serrations are similar to those on the Endela (which is likely, I guess, since the blades have the same stock and about the same height).
So, at least interested? Yes, indeed!!

Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Re: Sal, any plans for a fully serrated Police LW?
I thought the same thing, but I convinced myself it would be a useful addition to my collection (a worker blade that I can use around my apartment). The more I use and handle it, the more I really enjoy this knife. At first, it felt entirely too large, but now it feels very good. I always thought I was a smaller knife guy (love the Sage 2!), but a well done large knife is a pleasure to use.

Hi Vivi,
No plans at this time, but I'll watch this thread and sales.

Guess I’ll have to suck it up and buy a PE version for now

Re: Sal, any plans for a fully serrated Police LW?
For me the Police would be just a bit large in CARRY, not in use. I really like larger knives, the best combination of rather "short" carry length but long blade still is the Endura for me. Shorter-than-the-Endura-blades are generally "shorter than I prefer ideally"p_atrick wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 10:10 amI thought the same thing, but I convinced myself it would be a useful addition to my collection (a worker blade that I can use around my apartment). Re: Sal, any plans for a fully serrated Police LW?
Vivi, sorry, I really don´t want to derail your thread, but I just HAVE to ask once more:
Sal, any plans for a serrated ENDURA in ffg other than the Wharnie?
The Endela is such an amazing performer in SE, a similar Endura would be just mind blowing...

I would be interested in a serrated Police lightweight. Especially if it is ground thinner at the edge than the PE Police.
Can you imagine the cutting power of a 4.5" thinly ground fully serrated blade?! Make it an LC200N Salt while you're at it.

I will buy one if it is offered in SE but I will likely pass otherwise.
Do right always. It will give you satisfaction in life.

I already have a P4 G-10 but I'd be extremely interested in a P4 LW SE. It'd be a great backup folder as I normally carry and use something a little smaller.
Also I'd be interested in a P4LW in Super Blue, cladded or otherwise.

Re: Sal, any plans for a fully serrated Police LW?
I would love a serrated version. But right now, I'm happy with the one I have. Right now, it's the Spyderco I'm EDCing. When I put it side-by-side with my Military, I was a bit surprised at how much bigger the P4 LWT is length-wise (but not in thickness). It's a large folder, but it doesn't FEEL as large as it is (if that makes any sense).
A serrated P4 LWT would be an absolute beast.

Re: Sal, any plans for a fully serrated Police LW?
I'd buy the p4 lw in SE if it was ffg, which I imagine it would be. Would buy that before I bought the plain edge. I'm going ti be buying the plain edge too though lol. Probs nit until funds free up in December.

Voted no.
Although I do have a VG10 Assist, my interest in serrations is presently limited to H1.
H1’s serrations, owing to work-hardening, are said to be the hardest (HRC 68?) of any edge offered by Spyderco in all other steels.
I’m content with my K390 Police4(s).
