That Junction keeps tempting me. I have enough fixed blades in that size and role, but it looks too nice for $100 to not buy.....

I wish you'd buy it. As much as I'd like a fixed blade, I don't need to spend the money right now.

It's a fine lightweight hiking/hunting/cycling knife Vivi. The slim slabsided handles are quite thin for extended use, but I guess it's designed for carrying a lot and using a bit.

It has about similar corrosion resistance to D2, so if you could stand using the Police 4 during summer, this one might pass muster for you in certain conditions.

Seems to be quite tough for the composition too, so they've gone with a nice thin grind and bladestock, which you'd probably appreciate.

Get thee behind me, tempters!

I couldn't resist, and ordered up a Manix 2 in Maxamet.
I gotta see what all the hype is about.

:D :D ;) LOL, I've resisted so far. The Advocate's pretty cool, but luckily the right hand bias and flipper tab makes it easier for me to pass up.

Funnily enough, it's that serrated Cook's knife in VG10 that seems to be calling me... :spyder:
