First test run with the 4v Shaman, and first tastes of fall.
Nice pic!
And how did he Shaman perform?
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

So far I haven't asked it to do anything difficult, but I do love it in hand. I'll put it to harder use starting a fire in the soggy pit later.

I also really like the ergos of the Shaman, just perfect (don´t own one, but could try one twice). I have L to XL hands, and since you are a woman I just assume you have smaller ones, right?
If now the Shaman is great in hand for you (your probably smaller hands) either, the ergos must be really outstanding

Make sure they are ripe! :p

I've had a few persimmons but usually just when finding them in the woods. It's a unique flavor.

Yeah, I have longer hands than the average woman, but my hands are definitely smaller than my husband's, for example. And the Shaman is definitely a larger folder than I typically carry, but it still feels very comfortable. I think it's the fact that the scales are contoured, but not super "fat". I have that problem with fixed blades sometimes - some fat/thick contoured handles are meant to completely fill a man's hand so I can't get a good grip around them. Also very boxy scales on a larger knife will dig into me where they might not on a man's hand. Not so with the Shaman - great balance of contoured, yet slim for its size scales.

We like to trick newbies into eating one that isn't ripe - makes your whole face pucker up. :D I make a killer persimmon bread with the ripe ones, or fruit leather. We're lucky enough to have about 15 trees within sight of our cabin.

Perfectly aligned lettering! One off or the sign of the times?

Watched the Golden expansion ribbon cut last night. Looked like Sal used a Fluted Ti Military. So it jumped in my pocket today.
