Hi,
is that a flippers' exclusive?
PLEASE, make PM2 K390 a regular production or a sprint available at some credible ;) dealers.
I guess BBS will ask at least $230 for it... without shipping...

D.
Their m390 satin pm2 is $189. Still pricey, but not insane (imo). I bet this one will be more in that range.
That's still approximately $30 more than the DLT M390 satin PM2. If not for the BBS "tax", they would be the place to go for highly desirable exclusives this year. Either way, a few online vendors have the P4 G10 on sale, for $155-175, which is cheaper than this PM2 will be, while still offering more knife for the money. A 2nd P4 is a given for me, while the PM2 might take a hard pass. The color is cool though, so maybe I'll buy a set of the ranger green scales on the secondary market.

Let's just say it's $205 lol

Is the Bento Box announcement not a Para 2 in Elmax with Foliage Green G10 ? That is what I see on their website showing as not in stock but a link to the FB and IG pictures shown in the first post of this thread?? I'm confused ...
Maybe an old listing? I've never purchased there nor really visited their website before.

Edit: Ok older model released a few years ago but link beside it just goes to the last post on their FG and IG. I was definitely confused. Sorry.

BBS just posted more info. The K390 PM2 is $184.95 (plus shipping) and will drop 10-4-19.

Wish it was less expensive, but I’ll probably be grabbing one. I haven't tried K390 yet and I love the PM2.

BBS posted it on their fb page as their own exclusive.

Thanks.

That's a darn shame. I want more K390 to accompany my Urban, but the price and specific retailer will likely preclude me purchasing one of these.

I'm second this, really on the fence. At least the picture of the color they posted is pretty terrible so it's not making me want one super bad.

I think we'll see more K390

Anyone know if anything other steel is equal to K390 but made in USA? Like M390 and 20CV 204P situation we got going on.
Would make the blade even cheaper.

Received mine today, it is foliage green, exactly the same (or ridiculously close to) the G10 Dragonfly. I used to own the Elmax one and I believe that one was also this color.

Somebody really needs to do a study to show how much more useful life you get out of the massively long-wearing steels like K390. Who knows, maybe they're undercharging for this one.

I agree. IMO, Flipping knives only for profit is pretty scummy. It removes a knife from the market that someone may actually want/need for your own selfish greed. It undermines the spirit of collecting and using a knife as a tool. To me, it's for dolts who either are too lazy to work a little extra or who aren't clever enough to figure out a different way to make a few extra bucks. At least BBS is running a full scale business. I am glad that they have it and not the secondary flippers.
Do right always. It will give you satisfaction in life.

I know this is going against the grain ... but I wish the other retailers would RAISE the price of their exclusives. I was just browsing the bay and noticed it was full of st Nick Shamans and DLT PM2's - which is the only way I'm going to get an exclusive because I cant make a 75 second to 5 minute window happen. No way am I in at bay prices so net effect is these are non-knives for me and because of it I wish the retailers didn't even bother; don't need the tease.

Now back to the K390 PM2? How does this steel compare to the standard production S110V PM2 other than being a potential rust bucket?

Well, I'm buying one, and I'm glad they not going to sell out in 5 minutes.

My thanks to all those who make this possible.
