Would love K390 but sad it’s bento box. Their prices are silly.

If it is $200 I might be in. When you add $15 shipping and $12 in sales tax I need to really think about if $227 is doable for another Para2. If it is any more than that then I will just have to enjoy the knives I already have. ;)

I’m highly interested. Worried about corrosion prevention as I normally try to stick to stainless or semi-stainless.

Ebay listing says the K390 PM2 is an exclusive for Sportsmans Supply. If that's the distributor I'm not sure I've heard of them before. Or is that actually the dealer?

This one shall be mine. The green looks different than the one from Knifeworks. Looks lighter, but could be just the pic?

Love this steel, as I have it on my Police 4. It has been reprofiled and used on several camping trips. Good retention, and not a single chip despite some questionable use - wasn't me.

But the P4 doesn't see much use aside from a camp site. With a PM2, knife I have on me almost daily... looking forward to it. Hope it has the same HT as the P4. I want to see how it compares to my M4 PM2, one of my more used of the bunch.

So does this mean the BBS exclusive is something else? Or did the listing just get it wrong?

Btw, I think Sportsman's Supply is Moteng.

Yeah, if it is Sportsman's Supply, they are Moteng, I remember seeing a pic of the Edge-u-cation leaflet for one of the S35VN Para 2 models, I believe the DLC bladed one, was identified as a Sportsman's Supply distributer exclusive:

But here's the other wrinkle... I remember the first round of the M390 Para 2 was a JB Outman distributer exclusive, but DLT bought the whole round, so it became a DLT exclusive:

So it's a possibility Bento did the same?

I agree with this. Even $200 is asking a lot for a PM2 imo. Now, if it were a military...

Yeah I have of the JB Outman exclusive PM2s that all went to DLT. So I remember that and was kind of thinking this might be the case with this K390 run.

Oh interesting. I had no idea that has happened before. Kinda crazy BBS could snatch it all up first, though...seems like this model will be very popular, even with some recent pm2 burnout.

Edit: If BBS did buy the whole run...wow, they have deep pockets...3 of their own exclusives in the past year, plus all of this one. Might be why they choose to save money on website design! ;) :p

Totally agree. I'd rather see either a Military or Manix (either size) in K390 (or 4v) than yet another PM2 sprint.

I wonder if it is put out for bid among the retailers and the best bid wins the whole enchilada sometimes?

Think BHQ had all the teal Deilca 4.
