You don't want me to report on the knife? Or is something else bothering you?Slash wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 10:01 pmsomething smells fishy here...bagsnatcher wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 4:53 pmMine are landing on Monday.
I'll report back with findings, and/or put at least one of them up for sale.

Two, one for use, the other for keepsies (if it's nice enough).Pelagic wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 4:19 amHow many did you get?bagsnatcher wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 4:53 pmMine are landing on Monday.

Playing hookie today with my kids while my in-laws are in town, so I was home when this arrived - happy day! My first impressions of the Shaman are very positive, it feels like a beefy Manix 2 to me. I love the contoured handles (although I can see the clip giving me hot spots eventually). Fit a finish are up to usual spydie standards, no sharp edges on my handles, perfect centering. It was a bit stiff out of the box, but a few drops of blue lube later and it's easily flickable and drops nearly shut, which is preferable to all the way shut imo, so the bump at the choil doesn't knock my finger on the lock. This probably won't see a lot of city carry for me because of its heft and thicker blade stock, but I can't wait to get it out to the barn and our country property.
Posted picks for comparison to my Manix 2, definitely my most comparable spydie.
Edit: Also wanted to add a congrats to St. Nick's for an awesome exclusive well executed, and a thank you for their excellent service!

Wow, that really is a beefier blade! Also glad to hear the choil doesn't bump the finger on the lock. That was a major downfall on the Lil Native I grabbed and ended up selling. Mine is currently in my mailbox...while I'm at work. Wishing I played hookie too!! Thanks for the comparison pics.JuPaul wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 9:48 amPlaying hookie today with my kids while my in-laws are in town, so I was home when this arrived - happy day! I was obviously extremely disappointed in missing out on this but I'm not upset about anyone getting 2. Had someone got 5 or something. I'd beg him to be a "bro" and sell me one for $220 Haha.

We make our own fortune, friend.

That’s not necessarily true. I tried to place an order for my fortune at 7:00:56 and wasn’t able to due to the item being out of stock. I tried to make my own fortune, and it didn’t work.
Re: St Nicks Knives Exclusive 4V Shaman - Available 9/19/19
It's just a sketchy, selfish move on your part. It was a very limited run, which is why they only allowed 1 per household. But you went cheated the system to get yourself 2 of these, and then make that post when you know darn well there was at least a good 10 people right here in this thread that missed out by mere seconds. I wouldn't be very proud of myself if I were you. Hope it comes back to bite you one way or another, extremely selfish move.bagsnatcher wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 9:49 amWe make our own fortune, friend.TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 5:36 amI thought the same thing, but decided not to chime in...but now that someone else has, it's definitely a bit sketchy. Unfortunately, the choil on the Shaman will bump into your finger if the blade drops all the way shut. It might even be more noticeable than the Lil Native. Although I'm not bothered by it personally, I can understand you aversion to it happening.TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 10:02 amWow, that really is a beefier blade! Re: St Nicks Knives Exclusive 4V Shaman - Available 9/19/19
Thanks for the heads up Nick. I'm hoping that with the weight of blade that it will shut a little easier/quicker. Giving me time to move my finger from the lock. I guess I'll have to learn to adapt, not letting this guy go!Mushroom wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 10:35 amUnfortunately, the choil on the Shaman will bump into your finger if the blade drops all the way shut. Re: St Nicks Knives Exclusive 4V Shaman - Available 9/19/19
Yep, it definitely will. Which is why I'm glad that mine drops most of the way shut, but doesn't swing shut all the way like my manix does. I gotta admit, it bugs me on the lil' native, too, although not enough to avoid using it.Mushroom wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 10:35 amUnfortunately, the choil on the Shaman will bump into your finger if the blade drops all the way shut.
