LC200N Dealer Exclusive
LC200N Dealer Exclusive
Since we see so few knives done in LC200N, and we seem to not be able to get enough of them. I am making a plea to any dealer out there to start doing exclusives of this steel. We’ve seen a whole slew of non stainless, let’s go the extreme opposite way.
What do y’all think?

I'm on board! For starters I'd love a Kapara, a Smock, a manix, a delica...Dazen wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 10:49 amSince we see so few knives done in LC200N, and we seem to not be able to get enough of them. Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
The Native Chief and Kapara are the top two I'd like to see in LC200N.
I don't get people who only carry one knife

Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
Has a dealer/distributor ever offered a steel that Spyderco did not first offer? I don’t know. Just wondering.

Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
Dunno. 4v, M390, or CPM Cruwear maybe? Not sure if there was anything in any of them prior to exclusives.

CRU-CARTA THE SEKI MODELS! AND BRING US THE DODO-FLY!
Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
A dealer told me that LC200n wasn't a steel that Spyderco offered for exclusives.
Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
That would be amazing, but I’m trying to start small.
Any comp lock in LC200N would be first on my list.
And i would think it would have to be g10, CF or TI so they do not compete with the salt frn line.

Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
That is a bummer! But hopefully it's because they're planning a lot more production models of their own.

Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
Spyderco hadn't made a cruwear delica before, for example. I also don't think they'd offered an s30v dragonfly before. Both were distributor exclusives this summer, but the steels themselves weren't new to spyderco, of course. 4v...hmm...did St. Nick's start ordering this before spyderco had the Province in the works?
Edit: Or was the Fradon manix the first 4v spyderco released? Can't think of any other production knives in 4v, but my knowledge of spydie history is definitely limited.

Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
They did the Never Summer Native in LC200N, and I am not sure it that was a full Salt (stainless everything) or not. And the Abel Reels Natives are LC200N as well. So maybe they will do a sprint of an existing LC200N Knife in a different format. Like a Carribean with non-ugly scales??

Please keep it available for all of us, including me that live in the EU.
Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
I would like to see the Air, Dragonfly, and Chap come in LC200N
Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
Pretty sure the mules were first in almost all the steels except lc200n. I think the tusk was first for that one. The mule and never summer came later.
Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
From what I’ve heard, there wasn’t a CPM Cruwear mule; it was non powdered cruwear. I could be wrong though.

Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
That might be right. It’s not listed as cpm on the wiki page. It also says the mules were recalled for poor heat treat.
Of course they didn’t do a 10v mule and went right to the K2.

Re: LC200N Dealer Exclusive
Just posted in the other thread, but in the new product reveal section, the Spyderco app lists a new folder called the siren in lc200n from Lance Clinton. Rough texture g10 3.6 in blade made in Golden backlock. No pictures yet but might be similar to the waterway?
