Those scales look great.
Will we see the Ikuchi back in stock this year?
We saw new Kapara and Smock recently and I don't think there's anything new coming out this reveal we might see more soon I hope. I love mine but been carrying my Kapara since I got it.

People are saying the Kapara action was tweaked to allow it to drop shut with lock bar pressed

I too am hoping to see another run of the Ikuchi this year. This is a model that at first I overlooked. Now I can’t wait to get my hands on one. LOL.

There’s a new pivot bushing for the Kapara. It looks like an extra sleeve between the pivot and blade tang hole.

Hmm, I would be interested in seeing a picture of that.

The Ikuchi is amazing, especially the CQI version! Even better with custom scales…

i'm just going to say again that this knife needs nishijin scales. i know it's not likely, but it would be great.

I'd probably pick one up if it were in a different steel. If MagnaCut then definitely.

i know s30v isn't an exciting steel to many people anymore, but it's pretty great and this design is so sleek and slicey.

I feel I would really love the Ikuchi but I keep taking it out of my pocket and not being able to open it. It seems like the detent is just a hair too hard and it ruins the instant availability of a blade.

I had a hard time opening mine when I first got it. Now it is easy and I like the way it snaps open.
