It's gotta be a delica. Counted the dots and it lines up. I'm going to go with para 3 for the other one. Lightweight I hope.

Yeah, I was thinking the same after comparing the FRN pattern to one of my Delicas. Can't be a Dragonfly because it has the flat pad for an hourglass clip.

Looking at the photo of the blade, it almost looks like the spine has some curve to it. It makes me wonder if this could be a Wharncliffe Delica?

It does say "exclusive(s)" on the IG page, but my guess is if there are multiples, they'll be delica/dragonfly or delica/endura. Or all three.

No one excited for this one, huh? Damascus is so pretty, but I just couldn't bring myself to risk scratching it, so I don't buy it. Didn't that other frn delica damascus run do ok?

Yeah, Im surprised by the lack of excitement on this one too! Maybe it's due to the lack of details? Maybe people would get more excited if they knew exactly what is coming. Obviously there is a damascus Delica on the way, but they left things open by "exclusive(s)".

I might be more excited if I actually knew what the exclusive really is. I don’t get excited by these vague weird close ups and no real details.

Could be that knifejoy is not as well known as other dealers?

If this is just damascus with a vg10 core, I'll be less than enthused. However, if this is damascus with a superblue core or something more exotic than vg10 - I'll be all over it. I love me some delica, but most damascus isn't really my jam.

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but isn't all Damascus etched? I've seen some YT videos of people forge welding two metals together. You cannot see the pattern until it is etched. Is there another way this is done?

I think you are right. All Damascus is etched to show the pattern. What I believe @RustyIron is asking, is if it is full Damascus, or a solid core layer clad with Damascus. To which I have no answer. But guessing it will be clad.

I might get one. I actually had the last frn Damascus delica and sold it. VG-10 didn't thrill me and it still doesn't, but it was a very very good looking knife.

It was a Delica and Endura. They dropped yesterday. I ordered the delica and I'm pretty excited about it. I'd post a picture but I don't know how
