I have 85 knives, at around $20k invested. I don't have many Spydercos but there are at least 10 on my must have list. I know right where the money is going before I even make it.

44 Spydies in all.

Most, if not all, are pretty special.

Delica 4 the most abundant among them.

off the top of my head (maybe I didn't forget any)

4 PM2 (S110V and 3 in M4)
3 Manix 2 (154cm, M4, Cruwear)
2 Manix 2 LW (S110V, S90V)
1 Manix 2 XL S30V
2 Military (Cruwear, M4)
1 Dragonfly
1 Bradley folder M4
that makes 14

4 Mules (XHP, S110V, 4V, Maxamet)
1 Swick
that makes 5

5 out of 19 is approximately 25%

May I ask why out of all 369 :spyder: s why are the highlighted ones special?
Just my favorites by design, I tend to like "different" (which is a category all Spyderco's fall into). I like longer thinner blades like the classic Police.
My first Spyderco was a Military 440c and all of the Military, Para Military's and Para3's followed from there.

I feel much better after seeing CXXX's list. I have 97 now, or if you count my 2 Bug sets I won in a contest, 103. My Manix2's, especially M4 and 52100, and XLs are special, as well as blue anodized Ti, regular Ti, and Cruwear Millies, Superleaf, a pair of nishijin Rs, BayouShooter Endura, Police 4, black & tan Yojimbo, etc. It varies :D My favorite fixed blades are my 4V and K390 mules with jade Halpern scales.
Last edited by DougC-3 on Thu Aug 29, 2019 1:52 am, edited 1 time in total.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

I used to have two dresser drawers full of Spydercos, I think I was up to ~150 or so at one point. I purged hard and got my collection down to 6 Spydercos (Police 3, Pacific Salt PE, Tasman SE, D2 Military, Para 2 DLC, Aqua Salt). I'm much happier with my collection now than when I had 150.

I need one more to reach 50... That feels wrong, need to fix that asap! :spyder:

I’m in the 120ish neighborhood. I’ve been building a collection for several years now. Most were bought with overtime. All folders.

98. Long time collector, though I’ve calmed down for the last 10 years. Going blind doesn’t help, either, but for now I still have them around.

I Just visited SFO two weeks ago with my guide dog, and actually left with a TShirt, a knife lanyard fob, and no knife. There’s something wrong with that!

Favorites include:

-Lil’ Temp Rhino PE tops it out. It’s just such a beast, and feels amazing in hand. I don’t carry it much these days, though, it’s mostly for occasional carry.

-old School GoldenAge members. Original R PE NIB, Terzuola C15 PE NIB, Lum Ti Tanto, WTC #1515 (RIP Mr. Leonard), and many more.

- Current favorite is the Shaman SE, it’s a beast and can take anything, though it mostly opens packages. Like a chainsaw.
