Interesting! Then you must live fairly close to our fellow member JD Spydo. I live about an hour south of Midway USA.

Here's a family portrait of of my trailing point knives. I am a really big fan of the form.

Also, I am amazed at how thin the Bow River is behind the edge. I measure it at about 0.018 to 0.020 bte. I ran it over the brown SM stones and it has a sticky sharp edge now.

Awesome set! I have a BK-15 that I stripped and convexed to go with my BR and SF, great blade.

Haven't put my Bow River on the calipers yet, but agree that Spyderco really nailed it, really enjoying the knife so far.

In stock on eBay for $32.50 shipped from one seller (looks like he has more than 10 available - I bought mine from him and received it very quickly).

Looks like all gone. I was about to buy one but didn't want to pay sales tax and it happened to be in my state. Silly to fuss over a few dollars on a cheap knife but I'm not in a super rush.

Mine should be here on Monday. I ordered it last Thursday and it shipped a day later. Last night, after sitting at that post office for a week, it finally made it the fifty miles to the distribution center. Waiting for it to get to me is worse than waiting for it to be released.

Vivi has some good ones RE: reprofile narrower and med grit finish? Not 100% but search by user and 8cr13mov.
