Spyderhawk Salt Sprint - Washers?

#1

Post by toocool006 »

Hey spydies,

Quick question I bet one of y'all can answer. Does the orange spyderhawk Salt Sprint have Washers, or is it washerless like many other salts? Many thanks in advance for your wisdom!

Instead of separate washers, the older one piece FRN handles have concentric rings molded into them that serve to reduce the bearing surface between the handle and the blade tang.

Makes taking them apart for cleaning such a breeze when you only have two screws, a blade and a lockbar to keep track of.

There's still the small washers for the pivot screw. Lost one of those for awhile. Went so far as to make one. Finally found it sweeping one day.
