Very impressive series win by the Braves in Minnesota!

Saw an article in the local paper mentioning revenge for the World Series loss in '91. Part of me smiled, another part groaned - I was at Game 6 of the '91 World Series hoping to see the Braves win it.

Atlanta was ahead 3-1 and we pull Soroka in the bottom of the 6th WITH 2 OUTS. 2 OUTS.
The Dodgers proceed to score 4 runs lol......it was over then.

I gotta say, I really think the Dodgers are the team to beat for the World Series. ****, they have it all and then some.
If they dont win it this year, I'd be furious if I were a Dodgers fan.
And, yes, being a Braves fan, I've had a many a furious years lol, except for 1995 of course.
Seriously, the Dodgers are absolutely loaded.

I'm just being realistic. Atlanta is good, but Los Angeles are great.
What would be really nice, and I think it will happen is a East Coast West Coast Series Dodgers vs Yankees

Yes it will be a complete disaster if they fail for the 3rd time in a row! September call ups should bolster them even more with Gavin Lux coming up and some bullpen help.

First thing comes to.my mind, is the Brew Crew.
They better start burnin the midnight oil.
Also, really hoping Atlanta can make a real run to finish strong and take the Division. I must say, the Braves are playing marvelous.
Over in the AL, the Yanks have the best record, but my money as of now would be on Hosuton. Especially since Verlander, just tossed his 3rd career no-no.

Dog days of summer going on right now it seems, but Hotlanta! They are fun to watch right now and their bullpen (Melancon) seems fixed. Don't even get me started on Houston...can't do no wrong.

BrewCrew have so many teams playing so well right now that may hinder their chances. STL, Diamondbacks, Cubs, Nationals and Mets all playing really well but I remember last year when Yelich went berserker mode and carried them through!
