My only Para 3 I will absolutely not get rid of! Wish I used it more often like I used to, but I've acquired too many new knives!

Lazy lake day with my girl
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Throwing the hawk in the woods. Stretch in my pocket.(Was about time after a lot "Endura/ Endela" lately... )
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Yes, it's funny how things go: I enjoyed the Endela very much lately, but woke up this morning and suddenly missed the feeling in hand and the blade of the Stretch...
I use a SOG Fasthawk for throwing! They also have dedicated throwing hawks, but I don't like those, since they are really mostly JUST for throwing.
The Fasthawk is quite small, cheap, light and nimble, very good for throwing, but still a real and usefull TOOL (hatchet) either.
It's also quite durable (more so than a wooden handled hawk I guess), still I managed to break some unprotected handles, so now I "pad" the handle a bit with pieces of a cheap foam sleeping pad and tape (COLORED tape, so I find the hawk more easily when I miss the target... )

Just got my first Millie. Wow! I was of the opinion that this thing was enormous (and it is) and that it would be a pocket hog (it is not). It sits in my back pocket and I don’t even know it’s there. The previous owner put a low angle edge on it, I just touched it up on a strop and it’s shaving sharp. The gray scales are rit dyed “wine” and look great, I have no intention of changing them. This must be the smoothest liner lock I’ve ever used. Much better than previous liners I’ve tried in the past. Overall the knife is in excellent condition. Very happy for $175 delivered. I didn’t realize this was a CQI step back from the current ones like the rex45. I was surprised to see the black back-spacer and small lanyard hole. The only thing I might want to change is to find a current version clip; this one seems bent down at the tip a hair and I like the rounder end to the newer clips. Overall, I’m thrilled, and this is gonna get some pocket time!

Hey man sweet blade, glad you're liking the Millie! I try to carry other pieces regularly like Police, PM2, Stretch, but jeez that Military is just so practical, so perfect lol.Woodpuppy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 5:42 pmJust got my first Millie. Wow!
