My M4 hasn't been in my pocket much since the REX45 dropped. Adding Micarta scales to it back in June rekindled our love fest

Not really a huge fan of the PM2 or comp lock in general. I don't have any PM2s in my collection at the moment. If St Nicks does a Red G10/DLC 4V I will get that one. Or I would buy one in CPM-3V. Or a new CRUWEAR exclusive, especially in DLC. Or a lightweight or a Salt. :D

Those who have seen my posts, know that this is my knife. Not the perfect knife for all tasks, but perfect for me. Every one is a favorite. There was only one PM2 I despised for few reasons, but that doesn't matter.

I can arrange them in number of ways, but my two main categories are users and 'users'. All but one have played musical chairs with scales :) . Probably going to stay with this setup for a while.

These are my top three favorite. But because they are my favorite, I am more selective about what I use them for.

So that would make these three the ones I go to when I know there will be action. Used more, dulled more, chipped the tip on couple so a hair shorter, sharpened more. If I ever wear out a PM2, it will be one of these.

Looking at my top three from a year ago in this thread, only one steel change.

#1 Gray CruWear
#2 Dark green CTS-201P
#3 Tan S35VN

But really they're all great, so it's hard to not like any PM2...

For para3s I spose it’s tied between cruwear and M4. For PM2, it’s my rex45. And the only Millie (inbound) is cruwear. Really dig cruwear.

I like the Maxamet version for their crazy edge retention.

Sometimes I cut stuff that doesn't need to be cut just to speed up dulling them so I can sharpen them. :D

I seem to either reach for the Cruwear with smooth black G10 (love that knife). Or the 20CV with pale tan scales. These days.

The Rex45 is very special and highly treasured.

My S30V PM2 was probably my first Spyderco and is still a favorite and a really great knife.

Sorry, no photo ability.

I only own two PM 2s, a basic S30V and a DLC-coated S35VN. In fact, the latter I just purchased. I've had my basic model for years, and the PM2 has finally begun to grow on me.

I'm perfectly happy with my Cruwear PM2 and spydiechef which are both unbeatable in my daily rotation. But if this salty PM2 drops, I might give the chef a long vacation. I really dig the PM2's splinter-picker tip.

My 52100 with cf scales has been used the most. Its my beater pm2.
Then its a tie between 10v, k390, and s45vn.

I would say I like them all equally.

The pm2 has grown on me as well. I didnt get all the love for it at first. But it is an objectively good edc.

I dont have it but I also like the way that lime green one looks.
