Have you checked out the G Sakai H1 knives?

This (sorry, ridiculous) thread was worth it just for this. Wasn’t there a fixed blade hawkbill thread that went on for a while? This ticks most of the boxes, plus it’s got Spyderco-style serrations. Not cheap though.

I would love a LC200N plain edge Tatanka! I think all knives should be LC200N!

Yes! H1 or LC200N! However, I think I’d prefer a G10 construction similar to the Caribbean, but I wouldn’t turn down a lightweight.

For what it’s worth, I like the idea.

after more experience with lc200n, i think i'd prefer h1 in such a large blade. there's something about the toughness of h1 steel combined with the stout, hollow-ground blade that is just confidence-inspiring. that reminds me... i should get an aqua salt.

I just really want a tatanka. One of the knives I regret missing out on the most.

Ill take vg10 again if it keeps the cost down.
