Very interesting. A lil Native would be really nice.

Wow! If this is a Red G10 DLC 4V Compression Lock Lil Native good luck to everyone trying to get one! You'll need it! :D First Lil Native sprint in arguably the hottest G10/finish/steel combo around based on eBay sales of their Para 3s in the high $300s! Definitely grabbing one of these! Been waiting forever for a Lil Native exclusive, and DLC 4V is the icing on the cake!

The Teal Dragonfly, then the Cruwear Delica, and now this?!? What an amazing couple of weeks in Spydieville! :D

I'd guess it's probably going to be 4v. I really like that steel, but i don't personally see the need for it on a knife that size. Everyone's preferences are different though, and I'm sure it's going to sell out fast.

actually, what’s 4v like? i prefer steels that balance edge holding, ease of sharpening, and rust resistance well. i’m not a steel snob and i’m totally fine with s30v and xhp. i’d love a lil native in lc200n.

4v has the best balance of toughness and abrasion resistance for my uses. If you're after rust resistance, it may be less ideal, but I live in a desert, so that's not one of my major criteria. If I want more toughness, I'd go with 3v. If I want more abrasion resistance, I'll go with Maxamet. But 4v really hits the sweet spot in the middle for me, with a great combination of the two.

Your preferences will vary, though, depending on your use. But I'd definitely recommend trying 4v to pretty much anyone. And if you buy this one and don't like it, I doubt you'll have much trouble turning it over used on the secondhand market.

I’m in for whatever steel on this one. They have the Delica in hap40 but that is made in Japan, and the Lil Native is made in Golden like the Para 3.

Are y’all sure it’s a Lil Native and not a Shaman though?

Good point, didn’t see that! A 4v shaman would have been awesome too.
