Re: Spyderco coffee mug
I have a pic somehwere of Sal with a blue coffee cup with golden spidies...
He explained that it is a time consuming and costly exercise to do large enough numbers, or something like that, and then he has to sell them.
The time is better spent designing and making steel edgewares.
I would join the queue though, whatever they might look like.

Y’all must be lightweight coffee drinkers...
Re: Spyderco coffee mug
Hey Sal I've got an idea you and the staff might want to consider. Why not put out a series of high quality coffee mugs with pictures of older models on them. And stay with the 1998 to 2004 era  >> or maybe a few models close to that period.
Also you can add the designs mostly unique to Spyderco like Hawkbills, Reverse S and really unique models. Or you could focus on really long run models like the POLICE, ENDURA, DELICA, HARPY, MILItARY ect.

What about those mugs for people with hairy mugs? That could be the Spydiehole.

Deneen Pottery. These two are the camper size - 14oz.
Very nice! I was thinking it would be nice if they the mugs were hand thrown and hand glazed right here in the USA! It shouldnt be too hard to find a local pottery company to support near Golden.

As a Spyderco memorabilia junkie and a fan of coffee I’d take two in a heartbeat! I like the idea of black with a red logo but am not picky. Just would like to see it come together.

I'd buy a mug, but if we're talking Spyderco shwag what I REALLY want is a hat!

Sal,
Please work with Deneen and get a mug created. I’ve got a few of their mugs and the quality is absolutely first rate!

Re: Spyderco coffee mug
Man, if FRN is possible it would be pretty incredible. As long as it wasn’t $200. Even an FRN covered handle would be pretty cool. Very Spyderco.
Love pottery mugs, but this calls for the standard black with a logo or 2. IF it was pottery mug, it needs to have a mouth diameter smaller than the base. None of this straight wall stuff.

Re: Spyderco coffee mug
What lock would be used?
That decision might slow the process down a tad... :)

I couldn't wait any longer and bought this cheap 10 oz. tumbler. I just need a Spyderco decal to stick on it. I'm able to use this more often than a ceramic mug.

I'm in for one of these.
Would also like a winter beanie hat if you make those again.

Agreed. Tervis now makes stainless insulated tumblers as well. Very simple stainless with red or black Spyderco logo would be a must buy for me. A person could get a lifetime’s use out of one, just like the knives themselves.
