The walker looks like a nice minimal SAK for outdoors adventures. Probably going to order me one.

Cool pic. And it looks a bit like the knife would be floating in the air. (And the focus on it is just perfect... )bbturbodad wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 5:20 pm@Wartstein Funny you should say this...I was out on a hike today and was having a hard time focusing on the knife while trying to get a nice mountain background (not as nice as yours). Next time I'll have to take my real camera.
...and yes most of know what an Endura looks like so don't sweat it.
I settled for this shot on the ground today.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Thanks for the heads up. I can live with that for a backup blade that'll spend more time in a pack then in my hand.
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Sharpened my Delica after heavily using it on Tuesday and took it then with me on a quick morning run..

I lost my Delica to my son, also a Spyderco fan. Time to get another one I guess! I'm packing my Dragonfly and Autonomy tonight for work.

The very best way to "loose" a Delica, I guess!bearrowland wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 11:24 pmI lost my Delica to my son, also a Spyderco fan. Time to get another one I guess!
But I'd get another one for sure, if I were you. Still my second favorite SMALL folder, closely behind the Chap LW, and clearly before Native, Sage, Para 3 and so on...
If I hadn't the superslicey CHap already, I'd get another (additional) Delica myself too, but in ffg, not CE sabregrind as mine is.

Back home after participating in the blood donation marathon that takes place today in my town’s hospital :)
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I’ve been delving into the SAKwiki. Amazing variety out there. There’s a 93mm “Bushcrafter” version with main blade, saw, and an awl/reamer. There’s also a similar knife with a small hawkbill, main blade, and saw.Vivi wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 10:34 pmThanks for the heads up. Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
This is my favorite SAK. One handed opening locking blade, combo edge serrations towards the TIP (different to Spyderco). Still compact size, but very long saw and very usefull awlWoodpuppy wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 6:37 amI’ve been delving into the SAKwiki. Amazing variety out there. Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I've got one of those too, it's a great hiking & camping model. These days I usually go with a Leatherman, but sometimes I'll use my one handed trekker for a lighter option.Wartstein wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 8:26 amThis is my favorite SAK.
