What Are You Reading ?
Re: What Are You Reading ?
Dark Sacred Night (Harry Bosch #21), Michael Connely 2018. October 13, 2018 - the day I picked up Harry Bosch #1 The Black Echo. Been reading them one after another and slowed down on purpose to make them last. A few pages in and this latest one is good already.

The latest Jack Ryan Jr. Novel.

The Possible World, Liese O'Halloran Schwarz 2018.
Re: What Are You Reading ?
Conflict Cummunication: A New Paradigm in Conscious Communication, by Rory Miller. This is one of the better books I've read in a good while (and I've been reading some good ones, too).

Re: What Are You Reading ?
Another Jack Ryan Jr novel.
Just finished a decent James Patterson novel. It was about his Texas Ranger Rory Yates. It was a murder mystery. I figured out the killer before the first 100 pages. Still a decent read.

I'm going back and forth between two books right now:
Surviving Armed Assaults, by Lawrence A. Kane.
Most Evil: Avenger, Zodiac, and the Further Serial Murders of Dr. George Hill Hodel; by Steve Hodel, w/Ralph Pezzulo.

Re: What Are You Reading ?
I have been interested in the problem of "too much" lately. Too much information, too many blog posts, too many tweets, too many movies, etc. etc. This has made me interested in information itself. I was curious if the academics of the world have come up with any interesting models to deal with it.
So I have been reading "The Information: A History, a Theory, a Flood" by James Gleick. I'm only about 50 pages in so far, and it has mostly been a quick recount on the history of computing and information theory. I'm still hopeful it will provide something, but I'm starting to think it's all "soft" stuff. I may have to pick up a textbook on the matter, but I'm worried that route will lead to reading so dry I never get further than 20 pages in...
