Wow!!! A crazy 30 days of must have knives...

So my CC statement showed up today... and I couldn't believe how much I spent on knives over the past month. Had no idea I had gotten so reckless, but came across so many gotta have knives that I couldn't resist. Total hit to the wallet ... $784.96. :o The culprits include: BRKT Bravo 1 LT CruWear, BRKT Gunny 3V/Scandi pre-order, Spyderco Delica 4 M390 (x2), Spyderco PM2 Rex 45, Spyderco UK PenKnife S110V, and a leather strop. Looks like I'll be trying to apply the brakes for a spell! Anyone else care to share their knife influenced disregard of financial responsibility? :cool:

Yep...had my PM2 20CV, Urban AEB-L, WE Knives Wisp, KnivesPlus strop block, and currently/reluctantly the winning bid on S90V Yojimbo2 that I hope someone outbids me for haha. We're supposed to be getting a new storm door this month...Yojimbo should wait. I'm normally very good with managing money, but like you...feel I went a bit overboard this month considering other needs.

So far this summer I've bought a back-up Pacific Salt SE and some diamond sharpmaker rods for restoring heavily dulled SE blades. Plan to buy a Chief and Police 4 LW but waiting until the weather starts to cool a bit. I'll rust even VG10 in the summer.

I know the feeling... I had already spent over the limit I set for myself on knives and then the Maxamet PM2 magically came in stock the next day. Needless to say after about 5 minutes of thought it was purchased.

I wish I’d gotten in on the dlc bhq para3 (foolishly decided not to buy) and the bhq shaman (those things were gone before I knew they were in stock). Will have to be vigilant for the cruwear micarta shaman!!!

Yep, picked up a PM2 in 20CV. Then next day the PM2 in Maxamet started showing up and then yesterday the Para3 with Maxamet. I think my knife budget is done for the year.

This was also a crazy month for me . . . spending more in June than what I had previously spent on knives for my entire life. The big chunk of change was buying all 25 Para 3 SKUs that have ever been produced. (I'm planning to slow down in July LOL).

$625 is the most I’ve spent in a month on knives (not including sharpening equipment). Bought a NIB S90v/CF Manix XL from knife country USA (I think it was around $330 after shipping) and preordered the S90v/CF shaman from bbs ($295 after shipping).

Just picked up a really old stock serrated caly jr with micarta handles and got the email from Grimsmo about a Norseman the next day. The Norseman cost more than your total by itself.

It's been an expensive month for me too as I'm getting back into the hobby. Seems like a lot of other people have been bit by the Spyderco buying bug lately.
